The Tipi

A truly unique experience – whether you’re celebrating a birthday, significant occasion, or purely planning a get-together with friends and family, the Crown at Iverley’s Tipi is the place to be.

Our awesome tipi is situated at the bottom of the garden, and is a fantastic way to eat al fresco all year round and for creating a truly memorable experience. It has its own fully functioning bar, private decking area, and under floor heating, perfect for any private function, no matter what the weather.  We also provide a dedicated member of the team to look after you and your guests throughout your time with us.

The tipi holds up to 100 people in the summer, and up to 75 in the winter for a buffet or drinks, for sit down meals the tipi can comfortably seat 40-50 people.

Included is a bluetooth Bose music system, so bring your own playlist and dance the night away. If required we can also arrange for live musicians from a solo acoustic artist through to a full band.


Garden Tipi – Exclusive Hire – Booking Details

The tipi requires a minimum booking of 20 people. We offer a variety of food options, from a buffet menu to a 3 course sit down meal, all of which can be tailored to your taste and requirements. Our tipi menus start from £14.95 per person. We will open the private bar for any events over 40 people.

How long is the tipi hire period for?

The usual hire period is 5 hours, so either 12.00 noon to 5.00pm, or 6.00pm to 11.00pm. Extended hire periods are available on request. There is a hire charge of £100.00, which is payable at the time of booking and is non- refundable. A booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received.

How do I pay the final balance?

The final balance is due 10 days prior to your event. We must have received cleared funds prior to your date.

Can I have live music?

With respect for our neighbours we do not allow DJ’s in the tipi. We do, however, have a bluetooth Bose music system that you can hook up your playlists, or with advance notice we can arrange for a live artist or group at an additional cost.

Things to consider when arranging your special event in our tipi

Here are a few things to consider in the early stages of your planning:

  • How many guests will you have in total?
  • What style of food do you want? There’s something to suit every taste and budget.
  • How many people are your catering for?
  • What time would you like to arrive?
  • What time would you like your food?
  • Will you be providing any arrival drinks?
  • Will guests be paying for their own drinks or will all drinks get added to a tab?

General

In case of the weather preventing you from using our tipi, we will be unfortunately unable to accommodate your booking inside the restaurant.

14 day cancellation notice would be required.
